Ever since her mix-and-matched dinnerware collection debuted in 2014, we’ve regarded Bunny Williams as our own entertaining expert, so we’re delighted totake that entertaining prowess to the outdoor spaces. This Spring, we’re introducing her first outdoor furniture collection named after her home in the Dominican Republic. Of course, we had to sit down with Bunny herself to talk about what inspired all the new pieces and how she envisions people using her fanciful outdoor pieces.

Be it naphthalene-smelling, dog-eared leaves or crisp pages that have never been turned – a book is best held in hand and read non-digitally (yes, we, the dotcom company, said that) in a comfortable couch with a tea in hand. We’re old fashioned like, and it’s got no connection to the fact that we sell couches and tea cups and book shelves and book cases and book ends and some books too! Oh, in case you’re wondering, it’s Book Lover’s Day today, so we thought to ourselves, is there a better way of celebrating the day than with a reading list? Here are the favourites from a few of our?favourites.

This years not so hot summer has already seen parts of the country deluged with water, combine this with the quintessential English steadfastness which sees summer slip into autumn in a matter of weeks to be inspired as to the colour schemes which are dominating the market this autumn and winter in the world of interior design. The usual autumnal colours such as orange, reds and deep greens remain firm favourites, however this year the colour trend is to tone things down a bit and opt for slate grey skies, moss green and browns tones used against powerful contrasting brights such as fuchsia pinks to create dramatic interiors which have a homely, warm appeal.
